Irene Adler: I had all this stuff; never knew what to do with it. Thank God for the consultant criminal. Gave me a lot of advice about how to play the Holmes boys.
one thing that gives away that tfp is a john’s dream or fantasy is that moriarty is way more cartoonish but also how more blatant he is about fucking men. while moriarty in tab represented sherlock’s fear and his sexuality, and talked in a more roundabout way (your room smells manly, you shouldn’t finger your firearms in your pocket), this moriarty is way more open about his sexuality, but also how predatory he is. and that’s the point, john knows how disgusting moriarty is with his sexual and romantic obsession to sherlock, and how he will fuck literally and figuratively anyone he can manipulate (like the guards)
#don’t forget John being subconsciously afraid he’s no better for wanting Sherlock so badly :)
The biggest problem with this episode is that it essentially retroactively destroys Moriarty. Instead of being Sherlock’s nemesis, he’s now just a minion of a completely pointless character.
You always hated that story as a child—less keen on predestination back then.

hasn’t this all happened before? there’s nothing new under the sun.
Also, am I the only one who thinks that Moriarty told the old woman to start describing him, planning to kill her, just to upset Sherlock?
I’ve thought this from the beginning! Bc it doesn’t make sense, she could still tell him what his voice was like even after she got the bombs off of her?? It seems like a Moriarty thing to do, to just explode a whole block to rattle Sherlock.

An attempt of recreating another artist’s style. Or rather a tribute to one of my favourite artists out there.
